New Gramophone House in Delhi’s frenetic Chandni Chowk district is the last remaining vinyl record shop in Delhi. Founded in 1930 in Lahore, Pakistan, it relocated in 1947 following partition. It stocks everything from religious readings in Urdu and Bollywood soundtracks to snake charmer recordings. The shop’s popularity has grown in recent years and it now has a cult following among locals and international collectors.
